North Gaia EC does not have an MRT station within walking distance. It’s right next to the Symphony Suites condo, which opened three years ago, and across Yishun Avenue 8 from the forested land to the north-east.
The nearest MRT station is located in Yishun town core, approximately 1.6 kilometers down Yishun Avenue 9. It is connected to Yishun’s main shopping district, which is centered on Northpoint City, Golden Village Yishun, and the Town Square. This mature estate is served by a network of feeder bus routes, which is quite beneficial.
North Gaia, located on Yishun Avenue 9 near the Junction 9 new retail center, was won by Sing Holdings Limited. The developer was granted the tender by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) after submitting the highest price of $373.5 million, equating to a land rate of $576 psf ppr, which outbid the other six bids.
North Gaia is built on a land area of 21,518.8 m2 and has a maximum GFA of 60,240 sq m. The future executive condo will include up to 600 apartments.
North Gaia EC is 5 minutes walk from Junction 9, giving prospective inhabitants within walking distance of restaurants, supermarkets, food courts, and shopping. It’s also a short walk to the Yishun Bus Terminal and the Yishun MRT station, which is on the North-South line.
North Gaia EC residents will benefit from good connection and easy access to additional facilities at the upcoming Canberra Plaza, which will include enrichment centers, a food court, a supermarket, retail stores, an education center, and a childcare center.
