In May 2022, it was announced that the Golden Mile Complex was sold to a consortium led by Perennial Holdings, Sino Land and Far East Organisation for an impressive S$700 million to redevelop it into a new Golden Mile Complex condo with both residential property and commercial spaces under one roof. The collective en bloc sale of the iconic Golden Mile Complex was approved after more than 80% of its owners gave the green light to the offered price. 

This new Golden Mile redevelopment project has been revealed to become a mixed-use development comprising office spaces, retail and also residential homes. It is estimated to be completed by 2028. 

As the Golden Mile Complex has been gazetted for conservation by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), the joint developers have highlighted that the “the existing building will be sensitively restored”, while staying committed to retaining its key features, such as the unique and iconic terraced profile.
